Join
us as we embark on our 12th Haunted Niagara Bus Trip, stopping
at various haunted locations along the way!
Transportation is fully provided via a chartered coach bus taking
us to each location on the itinerary!
We
will be stopping at all the infamous haunted locations en route
to Niagara including The Screaming Tunnel, Drummond Hill Cemetery and the old Stone Jug (Niagara Falls' old abandoned Custom House).
NEW FOR 2010... a tour of Willowbank National Historic Site including a visit to the Hamilton Family Graveyard. And to top the evening off, we'll be heading over the border
for an exclusive sunset tour and paranormal investigation of
the historic and very haunted Fort Niagara in Youngstown, New
York! We'll have full interior access to the entire 1726 castle!
During this trip last year, we held a seance in the main room
and it was definitely interesting (and spooky!) This was so
successful that we have added an extra hour at the Fort!

New for 2010: Willowbank Mansion & the Hamilton Family Graveyard

The
Ghosts of Old Fort Niagara Castle
The
French built Old Fort Niagara Castle in 1726. Many ghostly
apparitions wander the halls and rooms of this ancient
castle. Many have reported seeing candles that are lit
by unseen hands, ghostly shapes without faces, and even
a few German shepherd ghosts howling at the moon. Here
everyone that visits accepts all these occurrences as
normal day-to-day life.
The
castle has four floors and on a clear night, you can see
the lights of Toronto Canada across the Niagara River.
From almost ever corner you can hear the waves beating
the shore to give more sound to the spookiness that abounds
in doors.
The
most popular legendary ghost that haunts Old Fort Niagara
Castle is the headless ghost. The headless ghost first
began to appear in the 1830’s. As the tale goes,
a French officer during a duel lost his head. His body
was thrown into the mysterious well. On nights of a full
moon, his headless body roams the castle in search of
his head.
The
chapel is also an eerie place late at night; here heavy
benches that are not there are heard being dragged about.
Not a great place if you wish to get some quiet and peaceful
sleep. The chapel is one room that a criminal could hide
for years, since police dogs will not enter.
Not
too many people are really brave enough to spend a night
or two in Old Fort Niagara since it is on the list of
one of the most haunted places in Western New York.
Eerie
and creepy sounds, bumps in the nights, lights in the
top floor window, and heavy footsteps should be enough
to keep those ghost hunters away and allow the spirits
to rest in peace. |
NOTE: You MUST have your PASSPORT to go over the border
for our Evening Investigation at Fort Niagara.
If
you haven't got one yet, visit the Passport
Office in Downtown Hamilton in person
(in person is much faster than by mail - we received ours in
less than two weeks!
You should receive your Passport just in time for the trip.
Applying through the mail takes about 4 weeks to receive).
