 Join
us as we embark on a three-day, two-night journey to
our nation's capital - Ottawa, Ontario. You'll not only
get a chance to spend these two nights in the historic
and infamously haunted Ottawa
Jail which was built in 1862, but also partake in
a historical jail tour and a Group Investigation late
at night. Visit Death Row, where prisoners spent their
last days, the gallows, and the depths of solitary confinement
in the basement.
We'll
visit Watson's
Mill in Manotick which is haunted by Ann Crosby
Currier. Ann's life came to a tragic end when her dress
became caught in a revolving turbine shaft on the second
level of the Mill and threw her body against one of
the nearby support pillars killing her instantly.
The
trip will also feature a special private tour of Ottawa
guided by the Haunted
Walks of Canada. Whether you're interested in chilling
murders or misbehaving ghosts, this tour of Ottawa's
downtown core features the ghosts of the Bytown Museum,
Lisgar Collegiate School and various haunted pubs and
restaurants.
We'll
also be visiting and touring the Laurier
House which once served as a home to two prominent
Canadian Prime Ministers, Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William
Lyon Mackenzie King. The house is said to be haunted
and the study also contains King's crystal ball that
he used when seeking the help of spirits in his decision
making.
A
scrumptuous
dinner on Saturday night is included at Tucker's Marketplace
in the Byward Market, and a 3-course Sunday Brunch at
the historic and haunted Courtyard Restaurant. Continental
Breakfast on Saturday morning is included too!

Facilities at the Jail: |
|
- There
are separate Male and Female Washroom and Shower Facilities
at the jail.
- There
is a fully equipped kitchen in the jail for you to prepare
your own meals or refrigerate your leftovers.
- There
is a TV and Games room and lounge for relaxation time.
- Death
Row and the Gallows are on a completely separate floor
from the sleeping cells so you don't have to worry about
waking anybody up during your investigation time (if
you prefer to investigate all night!)

What to Bring: |
|
 Clothing:
Be sure to dress comfortably as we will be doing plenty
of walking. Quality shoes would be good and we also recommend
dressing in layers as the weather will be unpredictable.
This event continues rain, snow or shine so be prepared
with the necessities. (sweaters, warm coat, gloves, hat,
scarves, raincoat, umbrella, extra socks, etc.)
What
to Bring:

are provided at the jail)

sure to bring some extra cash! Haunted Hamilton will be
selling various ghostly investigative tools for you to
use throughout the day. Tools include handcrafted divining
rods, pendulums, spirit boards and more! |

your convenience, there is a bathroom on the bus.
We
will have a large cooler filled with water bottles under
the bus that you are more than welcome to help yourself
to throughout the trip.

children under 13 are not recommended to attend this trip
because of the serious (and sometimes frightening) subject
